How does Johkasou work?
Johkasou is an advanced Japanese wastewater treatment system that works directly on-site. It uses a membrane bioreactor (MBR) to treat water from toilets, kitchens, and bathrooms. This treated water is clean enough to be reused for irrigation, flushing, or safely discharged — all without needing a connection to a public sewer line.
What are the maintenance requirements?
